Although healthy persons may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headaches, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
The department has not received any consumer complaints or reports of illness at this time. If you become ill, you are advised to seek attention from a physician.
